Brad Prunty, Lead Pastor
After graduating from Lincoln Christian University Brad spent the next 12 years on staff at COMMUNITY Christian Church in Naperville. During that time he served in various roles as student ministry director, campus pastor, and network leader. With a growing passion to continue the mission of helping people find their way back to God, he moved to Glen Ellyn and planted Westline Church on October 20, 2013. Brad now serves as the Lead Pastor of One Line Church and lives in Wheaton with his wife Anne and daughters Ella and Everly. In his free time he loves spending time with his family, being outdoors, playing golf or pretty much anything that involves competition.
Cathy Cuny, Family Pastor
Cathy is the Family Director at One Line Church. She is passionate about kids and students and has a deep desire to help support and encourage families. Our kids and students have a very important role in the church, can make a big impact in the world, and we want to help them discover who God has called them to be. Cathy has two grown children and lives in Wheaton. She spent 8 years at Community Christian Church as a Kids Director before planting Westline Church in 2013. Cathy is an incredible leader and coaches Kids Directors all over the U.S. Her hobbies are hanging with her dogs, reading, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Cubs (mostly to irritate Brad and Brian).
Brian Prunty, Creative Director
Brian is the Creative Director for One Line Church. He loves making videos, making music, and finding new and creative ways to tell God’s story. He lives in Glen Ellyn with his wife Terri and their 5 boys. Brian loves coaching baseball, pretending like he’s good at softball and golf, and watching Youtube videos of people unboxing Girl Scout Thin Mints. Brian also loves working for his little brother, it’s always been a dream of his.
Nick Plassman, Director of Discipleship and Multiplication
Nick is a proud husband to Lisa and father to Elijah and Alena. He graduated from Lincoln Christian College and has served in a few churches including Community Christian Church and Wheatland Salem Church and has been a leadership coach and consultant for many more. He has helped to launch a few online companies and satisfies his entrepreneurial itch with ongoing technology projects. He currently works with leadership development practices church-wide. He is the Co-Author of the Apprentice Field Guide, Coaching Field Guide, Turbo Leaders Guide as well as several other articles and resources for leadership. He loves meeting people for one on ones and believes that is where the best leadership takes place. Nick loves the vision of One Line and is passionate about helping people find their way back to God. In his time off, you can find Nick chasing golf balls down the wrong fairways and fishing/camping with his family.
Mark Derry, Executive Director
After a long and successful career in business, Mark has joined our One Line team as Executive Director. Mark and Cindy have been married for over 30 years and live in Lisle. They have four grown children and one granddaughter. Mark’s responsibilities as Executive Director include oversight of strategic planning, finance, administration, human resources, and operations. His passion is to be a catalyst of growth for the church and the accomplishment of One Line’s mission. Mark loves to spend time with his family, tries to play golf, and anything that allows him to enjoy God’s creation.
Luke Cunningham, Student Pastor
Luke is the Student Ministry Director for One Line Church and a recent graduate of Trinity International University. Luke grew up in Schaumburg with his family and Is so excited about moving to the Wheaton area to serve students! He has a huge heart for students and helping them grow in their relationship with God. Luke has served in multiple middle school, high school, and college-age volunteer positions with a common goal in mind: Encouraging others to come back to Jesus. He loves people, coffee, and one on one conversations while drinking coffee. In his free time, you can find Luke going on spontaneous adventures with friends and eating all the Andy’s Frozen Custard.
Kerri Colby, Ministry Support Coordinator
Kerri is awesome! Kerri and her husband Dan live in Wheaton. Here eldest son is currently attending Drake University. They are very active in making One Line such a welcoming environment. She loves purple and sparkly things! She is brilliant and helps us to accomplish the mission here at One Line Church.
